Re: FLAC / mp3 converter?
Download Exact Audio Copy and the LAME encoder. Put the LAME EXE in the EAC folder in Program Files, then find the EXE when EAC starts for the first time and asks where LAME is. EAC is a pretty nice app, I use it to rip CDs to 320kbps mp3 - though if you use it for CDs, make sure you switch to the "Fast" drive mode (click EAC --> Drive Options) otherwise it takes an age .
EAC can handle WAV files, so all you'd need to do is convert the FLAC to WAV, so download and run the FLAC Windows installer. Run the FLAC Frontend from either your desktop or Programs menu, click on 'Add Files', find the file and click 'Decode' to create a WAV copy that you can feed into EAC. It's a long way around but once you've got everything installed it should be fairly quick
There's quite a nice guide for EAC including the various options here: http://www.teqnilogik.com/tutorials/eac.shtml
