there were some attendees collecting their ordered/paid for tickets at the door via a list(as they couldnt post them out in time)
also there were 25 tickets for sale on the door on a first come first serve,so you woulda made it either way.a can of redbull woulda sorted you out.
just think, you coulda even got to speak with the legends themselves in person.shame.
oh well,im sure you will check out the venue one day as theres always decent gigs pretty often in there.

perhaps it was sales tactics.they probably wanted to fill the venue early as possible so got all the non-ticket holders filling the place the minute the doors opened.
the bouncer on the outside door of the pub entrance said "there were no tickets left" to 1 or 2 people.which was a bit pointless/confusing.
anyway sod it we all got in one way or another and it rocked.

One weird thing is that the gig was soldout but way less packed then the Napalm Death gig a week or so before.

Maybe ND fans are all fatter and take up more space?

Oh my fuck. What an absolutely brutally insane night! I drank a quarter bottle of whiskey before the gig, then drank some ints and a couple of shots at the gig, the pit was fucking mental, people were just stagediving constantly with no remorse, I did once or twice just cause I thought why not. Some guy commented on my bright orange GWAR shirt which is nice, GWAR shirts always make people comment, I love GWAR. Anyway, this gig was the day before my mate's birthday so after the gig me him and the guitarist from his band went and got some alcohol from an off license then went to The Crobar and drank there til closing.

This is what my mate said happened but I don't remember any of it:

"hahahaha steve hit rock bottom!!!!!

what an adventure....home at half 6, no money, no wallet, ripped off by a big fat illegal cab driver, threw kebab on floor, in cro bar till 3, nearly had a fight with a big american dude, bought party poppers off a tramp?!?!? "

Also we all apparently got off with American girls but I don't remember that either. Good night.

What is your ratio of getting wankered at gigs to losing things? Is it... 1:1 Stevieboy?

In the alley way for a sneaky blow job.

My ratio of loosing things at gigs is not good, I dunno, I can't really think at the moment I've been on a 3 day bender and my brain is absolutely rotten. I was driving around this morning still drunk from last night listening to Night of the Stormrider, that is a brutally amazing album, one of my favourites of all time.
