I don't really like River Island. Their sizes are all gay - a River Island 34" waist will be the 30 - 32" waist of most other places. This is problematic if, like me, you're a bit of a lard-arse. I suppose it depends what you're looking for really: combats - Topman; jeans - Next; shirts - River Island.

What I cannot stand is trying to buy T-shirts. I'll go into town looking for some and literally 100 per cent of them will be those gay ones with stupid shite like 'Children of the '80s' written on them in massive letters. Only faggots wear them.

Maybe I'll have to check out Next then - finding the right fit of jeans is my nemesis... the 34" will be too small but the 36" will be like a tent round the pelvis. I hate baggy jeans.
