also in secondary school during P.E the teacher said during javelin practice "do not collect until i give the word,as you dont want a javelin through your thigh like one poor lad 2years above ended up"
being 13/14 we were saying "as if" etc.
funnily enough i washed up in a pizza restaurant when i was 15(as i looked over 16 and it was better than a shitty paper round)anyway,the lad who cooked was 2yrears older than me and had finished the same school.one eve we were chatting and it somehow led to him saying"rich,o you remember when that ambulance pulled up on the field that time?" i replied "yeah what was that all about,what had happened?"and he goes "i was doing P.E/javelin and this lad went to collect his before permission was given and another person was still throwing and it went in one side of his thigh and out the other!!!!!"
i thought shit that was true after all

anyway the haedbanging whiplash thing is a myth.i see the odd metal documentaries/programmes on tv and it always goes into the bit usually from the late 70s/early 80s about when the government and the award winning scientists/doctors all team up to scaremonger the people who are enjoying a scene the government dislikes.
by now if the whiplash thing was true,im sure thousands of roughly40-60yr old men would be complaining about it and thered be a serious epidemic of them all suffering.
if anything,it exercises your neck and makes it stronger.thats my theory,based on absolutely no evidence of course!

just like that B.S.E thing a while back.everyone was scared to eat meat.i thought until i start to see people plagued or rabid or diseased beyond help then maybe i'll consider not eating mcdonalds.besides,when animals are slaughtered,im sure the feet and the lips/tongue/teeth arent really needed anyway.

No idea. I was like 12/13. I just went in, he told me I was an idiot and the reason I couldn't move my neck left and right was because I gave myself whiplash. And he gave me a big neck thingy.
