Just to keep me up to date with the scene, would bands mind posting what they are up to at the moment please and I don't mean drinking a beer and looking at ukthrash.co.uk! So if you are currently writing, due to record soon or putting the finishing touches to a new demo, chuck a reply on here.
Much obliged.
Ian

After an enforced short break due to uni exams, we're getting back into the swing of promoting our last demo, and organising some shows. We've got plenty of material being written for future releases, but nothing totally finished yet.

Jotun (a new thrash, prog metal band from the Midlands) have just started piecing together gigs around the country in preparation to take their own brand of metal to the British masses.
We've just posted three tracks that were recorded at our first gig in April '07. We're looking to hit the studio in the next couple of months to record our debut ep. We're using these gigs to fine tune the songs we're looking to record.
Loads more on the horizon, things are moving fast at the moment.

Suffering problems related to geography, incompetence, indifference, alcohol, bad timing and sheer bad luck means STD have been a little unproductive as of late. However, the Sick to Death next full length should still be out by the end of Summer on Resilience Records. Only vocals and some guitar to be done, new tracks include 'Ignorant Cunt', 'KKK-FC' and 'Democracy Dies'.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

KKK-FC has to be the best song name ever.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Aids is meh, i am not enjoying it because of its "Shock value" it is a funny joke to me.
If it was Aids Butt Fucked My Mother I would have laughed, aids on its own aint too hot.

I know. However, the bands called STD (Sick to Death) and the album's called AIDS (Anarchists In a Defiant Stance). It has a title track about protesting the status quo.
