i like alot of classical, mainly baroque era and romantic....very relaxing and i think very interesting to listen to

I listen to a bit, I'm not very up on what is what era though, I just listen to whatever I like, I've nicked a bunch of my dads classical stuff and I'm slowly getting through it deciding what I do and dont like...

I hate it when people say classical music. Obviously I know what they mean but Classical music only refers to the period between 1750 and 1820 (I think... It's been a while)

It just seems too general to me, because I could give you several big difference between Classical and Romantic music, for instance.

Saying that though, in the general sense, I like Wagner and Provokief(sp).

I love it, but my ignorance of it rivals that love. I like Mozart, Brahms, Strauss, and several others that I've heard... but I know very, very little about the genre as a whole.

Love the stuff man, I'm not very knowledgable on songs and composers and such, but there are some classical pieces that kill face!!!!!

I used to listen to some virtuoso violin stuff when I was really into playing guitar but I don't really listen to anything that isn't Vivaldi any more.

At one point I was gonna have 'Montague and Capulets' from Provokievs Romeo and Juliet as Heretic's intro tape before gigs.

...But then I opted for the Steptoe and Son theme tune instead.

I like listening to alot of the old classical tunes. Heres a couple of me favourites.

Greig - Peer Gynt Suites
Holst - The Planets Suite

There is alot more but canny remeber them all!!

At the moment the only composer i really listen to is Igor Stravinsky, Firebird for the win :-)

Mozart and Bach mainly, Wagner and Mussorgsky too on occasion. Beethoven too.

I always wondered what would happen if the likes of Vai and Satch teamed up with musicians like Mozart and Wagner. That would be cool.
