Been having a total Cardiacs binge recently to get through my exams!
I don't know how you really describe their music but its like prog/punk/ska/circus music

Crazy yet amazing stuff!

Stop pushing my bands!WSEOSDGsdg

I like Cardiacs a lot.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I was never much of a Cardiacs fan. Saw them a couple of times back in the early 80's supporting prog rock bands. They were always a bit too schizophrenic for me.

In fact, I saw them on this tour ...

"Between November 5 and December 21, 1984, Cardiacs toured as a support act to Marillion at the personal invitation of Marillion’s vocalist, Fish. Whilst the tour afforded the band a new level of publicity, generally they were not well received by Marillion's fanbase. On most dates of the tour, the band was pelted with a variety of makeshift missiles. During the December 13 show at the Hammersmith Apollo, Fish himself was moved enough to come onstage during Cardiacs' set to berate the audience about their hostile behaviour. Despite this, there was even an attempt by irate Marillion fans to set fire to the safety curtain during Cardiacs' performance at the Manchester Apollo show on December 17."

The Cardiacs is certainly a band that is one of a kind. Love 'em or hate 'em, I guess. I rather like their oddball tunes and image. The 1988 live album is great.

No Means No did a similar thing for the Hardcore/Punk scene.

Yes it is, their stuff is annoyingly hard to find as well.

Paul i'll fire some your way a little later on.
