Can only have 10 lines so i just put the main ones in.
For me florida death metal is the best metal out there. For me Death win, but Obituary come up just behind.
Theres a florida death metal band ive been into for a while called Capharnaum. Their first album was great and the drummer was only 11 when it was made. Heres a sample:
But they got ruined when Matt Heafy came along and joined them.

Obituary never bore me, but thats a problem people have with them as every album is consistent in style. I dont mind that one bit. Their new album is looking great, they've re-recorded the two new songs from the Left To Die EP for it which will be nice.
If anybody has heard the Tardy Brothers album yet, would you agree that it is just another Obituary album. John tries to claim its not, but it really is. Theres just about 2 or 3 songs that are slightly more melodic. Apart from that it is just an Obituary album.

Never been big on paint by numbers Death Metal really, it's always seemed a bit samey to my innocent ears - but yeah, certain crushing tracks do make you go "WOAH!" and I do like Death and Athiest when they pack a million riffs into one track, well done.

That is the case with a few band. Morgoth sound just like Death. But i wouldnt have them any other way. Its a different set of songs, so im not complaining.

They are, but the others are all amazing. Monstrosity are amazing and i think they only got better when Corpse Grinder left.

Cannibal Corpse are probably the best out of that lot. Recent Cannibal Corpse - nothing before Gallery of Suicide.

Death are the only band I listen to from the list but I really liked Retribution by Malevolent Creation and From Beyond by Massacre. Haven't listened to either in ages, though.

From Beyond is a great album. But Massacre had a previously unreleased album, The Second Coming. Its my favourite Massacre release, the quality isnt amazing, but its the best song writing and the bassist on it is stunning. They send that album to Earache and Digby wouldnt sign them because Terry Butler wasnt on bass. So Kam, being a prick that he is, sacked this amazing bassist and got Terry back.

Re: Favourite Florida Death Metal band?
This is too hard, so ill go through my favorite bands on that list...From Beyond is an great album and massacre were rather good at Wacken last year, Altars Of Madness is an album that i have played over and over but never got sick of (even my dad likes it). Obituary are good but they don't have as many stand out songs yet the ones that do always have that slow to fast riff. Deicide's first two albums are amazing but after that its not that standout. Autopsy i haven't really listened to in ages yet the "slower" riffing past a lot of death metal bands yet works really well. Death are like Carcass in the sense that more or less every album is different each with its own merits and finally Cannibal Corpse have kept strong over the years yet fell into a sort of comfortable formula for a few albums then shake things up for the next few.
So overall i think i'm going to have to say Massacre at the moment (it keeps changing), purely because of From Beyond.
