I thought the head was Saddam. You know, like his ghost is looking over us all...

Ok...

Anyway, that looks really cool, James. Fits the concept well.

Jon, this best kick ass.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Oooh, it will, it will!

James, that'll be fine, I'll use what I've got left of my student loan! How do you want me to do this, send you some sort of cheque or something?

I also just thought of another idea that could be added to the front cover too actually - perhaps it would be cool to have a bit more detail in the sky, like a couple of helicopters and distant expolsions or something along those lines. The intro track starts with a helicopter sound and me shouting from the distance quite hilariously but nicely "War is peace! Freedom is Slavery! Ignorance is Strength!" so it would be quite cool for the nice.

Yeah that's a good idea Jon. In fact, in another sketch I've done the artwork stretches on to the inside cover, which carries on the city, and there are planes flying overhead (reference to Air Strip 1).

I'll have to find out how much those materials will be - shouldn't think they'll be much, the uni shop sells stuff like that. I'll look into it :)

I have a new development for you Mr James. My friend Paul has a collection of amazing photos from his tour around many countries including Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Hong Kong, etc. A lot of these pictures could be amazing for the Golden Country part of the artwork, so what I think I'll do is use these and just ask you to do the front cover (with the back page of the inside front cover as well still, as you mentioned earlier with the expanded city loveliness). Basically I saw these pictures and thought it would be quite nice to have a real photo of what could possibly be the Golden Country.

Hope this is cool and you haven't started working on this part already! How's it all going anyway, did you manage to get hold of those materials you needed?
