I thought they could have done a lot more with the idea of the internet being a physical thing.

A giant router was funny though! I don't get why this one hasn't been more well received :\

To be fair, that episode could have done with Cartman.

Was just about to say that.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

This is what I have thought for quite a few of the new series episodes in general, even though they have good elements

Yeh it was alright, the Randy bits were as always spot on, but as folks have said, it was just a bit lacking again.

I also called the being plugged in thing but did think Randy's release was pretty funny.
This Season has been ok but I think Seasons 10 and 11 were two of the strongest so this one is struggling to live up to its predecessors. Definitely agree that the ideas are there but not taken to their full potential.

Maybe they need to start making 40 minute episodes. Seems to me you can't really get much more in, and there's not a lot you could take out while still having it make sense. Was a good episode, clocked the plugging thing bout 5 mins after seeing the internet. I like the close encounters reference, I've had that melody in my head for about 2 days now so it made me chuckle :)
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

The problem here is, every show has two story lines. You swap back between the two and they somehow meet at the end. South Park has just been doing one story.

Last weeks one left 2 stories completely open tho.

I think with the rat penis, what happened there?

and with Cartman teaching...what happened after that exam?!

Maybe I fell asleep and something happened.

Yep, you fell asleep. Mr Garrison got his penis back and Cartman won an award and said "I reeeched these keeeds" and it was mildly humorous. The new episode may have been my least favourite one yet. Maybe it's because I was really tired when I watched it, but I didn't find it that funny at all. The story was very weak, and there are only a couple of things I can remember about it. When Kyle took the plug out and put it back in at the end, I actually found that humorous indeed because it was predictable and it made me laugh remembering the internet frustrations I had at uni. Really quite hilarious. But to have a whole episode based on that, I think it was kind of unnecessary. Maybe they really are running out of ideas, or just saving all the good ones til the end like Imaginationland.

I think this might be what's going on.

I enjoyed the episode but as many have said there are some elements they could have done more with. This was better than the penis or Britney episode I'd say but the only one so far this season that was truly great was the cat piss one.
