Yea, I used to be involved from time to time back in the late 90's. Good memories of the Red Eye shows (metal bands too!), anyone else remember that place? Never really into the ideology or 'scene' unity shite. Favourites where/are Knuckledust, Stalingrad, Freebase, Imbalance, Unite, Stampin' Ground, Assert and FLS.

I hear those 12 Bar gigs are totally mad but I'm too old for all that kung - fu bollocks, bring back the traditional mosh - pit!

I hate the Hardcore scene with a passion, everyone is basically an inconsiderate prick and there's always someone wearing a massive bag in a really crowded venue. Argh.

Yeah Hang the Bastard played 12 Bar last week, in London (I dunno if there's more than one!)
Yeah, I don't like to judge but from every hardcore gig I've been to there have been pricks ruining it for me.

here is a video of siege playing live from 1984, they are years ahead of thrash bands for speed and aggression as you can tell, despite the poor sound

I love Septic death but i'm not sure if they're classed as hardcore punk.
