well,it all started back last may/june time when i got a free dvd with metal hammer featuring municipal wastes mind eraser clip at the very end.i just HAD to check them out,so i found and bought the hazardous mutation album +bonus dvd the next day in hmv.then got the waste em all album off amazon.these albums and dvd footage were amazing.then just in time about a month or so after i got into them, came the 3rd art of partying album.so on the release day i got that and in the cover was a list of tour dates.one being the underworld.so it all started there for me with thrash really.leading up to the discovering the waste i had mainly death metal and 18 motorhead albums.i had been to occasional london death metal gigs but for me they were too serious and lacked a certain party/friendly feel.
so really in the last year, because of thrash i have discovered such a great genre of metal music, met such welcoming, friendly bands as well as fellow gig attendees/fans,joined this forum, helped various bands with equipment to and from shows, kipped over at peoples who generously put me up around various areas of london, and all round had a phenomenal, enjoyable journey of which shall continue.
this is my THANKS TO EVERYONE ive met along the way so far thread/tribute including a cheers to this site itself which has been a big help.
anyway i wont go on
ive kept track of all these thrash related gigs/events i have shown support at/attended and extremely enjoyed, check it out...

I've said to Jamie before, imagine how amazing the UK Thrash scene would be if everyone was like Rik and came to every single gig ever. Thank you Rik for all your support since you discovered the scene, you're a legend!
