Good clubs/bars/pubs in south west london (and beyond)

Postby Thrashlikeits86 on Sun Aug 02, 2009 2:40 am

So i live in Kingston upon thames and basically if you arnt a chav or an alcholic theres absolutely fuck all to do. The only 'alternative' venues are pretty shit. Me and a couple of friends wanna go further into london to find some little corner that plays thash and other metal so that when we are drunk we can actually headbang to metal as opposed to the spice girls which is all our local places have to offer.

Any suggestions are ridiculously welcome.

Crobar/Intrepid Fox/Garlic & Shots

In fact, London UKT crew, lets have a get-drunk some time soon ay?

You are welcome to join us bud, bring girls.

Also, I used to go to college in Kingston, there is a shop there called 'Books, Bits and Bobs', they have some cool old metal artifacts there for very cheap, go and check it out if you haven't already.

I agree with the drinking, the girl part especially.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Is the London Stone still open? That's another one of those Eerie pubs with test tubes everywhere. Think it's near Bank.

Don't know what it's like these days though.

Whats the pub that looks like a library with bookcases as doors etc. The Old Bell? Something to do with Jack the Ripper anyways.

The Marlborough Head had fake bookcases as the doors to the toilets if I remember rightly... although I haven't been there for ages, I think it might be more of a trendy establishment now.
