Just out of interest, why on earth do you need a studio to record yourself saying stuff into a microphone? Couldn't you just use any old laptop mic, or if you have a desktop, use one of those headset mics? I didn't think it was such a palaver to make a podcast...

I haven't had the equipment, nor the space on my laptop. I'm in the middle of setting up a home studio (a year too late) so future shows etc. will save me time and money

Also, I like having an engineer present. Saves me half the work.

The space on your laptop? Equipment!? What are these things!?!? I don't understand at all. And why on earth would you be spending money on this? The mind boggles! Did you ever talk to Paul about how me made his? Maybe he could have given you some tips.

Paul was so much better with these than I was, because he put a lot more care into his work whereas for the most part I just got drunk and ranted about thrash into a microphone for an hour or so. That being said, I've really enjoyed doing some of these and I'll miss 'em.

If you have a full hard drive, there must be something on there you can delete to make space for recording software. Almost every laptop I know of comes with a built in microphone too, is yours an exception? I'm not complaining that you spent your money on studio time, it just seems like a bit of a waste of money and time for you, especially since they screwed it up. No major reason to bring this up now in particular, I had just seen this dragging on for ages and ages, was looking at your lame excuses and wondering what was the major malfunction! Anyway, it's done now right? So never mind I look forward to listening to it.
