Seventeen nil against Canterbury United in the Club World Championship Semi. No cheating whatsoever, all players bought fairly (although I was playing with the most up to date transfer patch so Liverpool already had Torres. :D

to be fair Canterbury United are a terrible team :lol:

True, and this was some weird Australian team I think, so it wasn't even the English Canterbury - this was in the Club World Championship!

Just started on patch 8.02 with Sporting Fingal a brand new Irish side in Eircom League One. Theyre so shit that i'm over their wage budget before i've started and i have a squad of 14 :D

The best thing to do when you play as a lower league team to make money is to try and organise as many pre-season friendlies as possible with premiership sides (not like Man Utd or Chelsea etc, they'll just decline - more like Sunderland). You'll get pounded every single time, but you'll take all the ticket money - and the Premiership sides will rake in the crowds.
