Brilliance sheer brilliance. Again i don't really remember many of those pictures. But fucking hell what a time, managed to score some weed whilst out there and got high for the first time in a year before Sabbat which made the set near orgasmic.

Waste were fucking amazing, as were Reich, Sodom and Destruction. Immortal were also very good from what i got to see of them.

Had a fucking mini adventure getting back which ended up with me getting back at 5:30 today. But all in BEER AND VIOLENCE, BEAT UP THE FARMERS!

Yeah it was pretty damn long! Watched saxon on the screen there haha! Had to miss a fair bit of overkill but was well worth it! They were really nice guys and signed my nightfall album :dance:

I would say Blind Guardian put the best set on at Wacken by far, followed by Sodom, Destruction, Sacred Reich for the thrash bands.

BG were fucking amazing, but I'd have to go with Destruction and Immortal as being the high points of the festival, closely followed by Samael. Sodom, Saxon, and Amorphis get equal 3rd.
