We are over the moon to be able host legendary UK thrashers Onslaught again. I'm sure all of those who were at the May gig will be as enthusiastic about this as we are. It was a terrific night and I suspect your ears are STILL ringing!!!!
Onslaught remain one of the very best live acts that have emerged from the UK and have continued to destroy festivals across Europe since they laid waste to Maidstone last month.

Main support comes from Gama Bomb, who I have had the pleasure of seeing a few times now. Blessed with a fantastic sense of humour and an unadulterated love of thrashing these guys are not to be missed. The first time I saw GB I felt like I was 18 again. Absolute top quality!!

The last band I can now announce as Fallen Fate. These guys played a blinder supporting Onslaught on our May 25th show. Since then they have played Download, where they had Sy Keeler as a very special guest perfoming onstage with them. The new album is out on 27th June and it promises to be a very fine offering too.

We are Pandemonium Club, the venue is Babylon Live Lounge, King Street, Maidstone, Kent.
We'll release a ticket price when we have done our sums and worked out much it's all gonna cost us.

Re: Onslaugh/Gama Bomb + 1, Maidstone 22/9/2011
I've got a couple of friends who live in Maidstone. However, they think my music is hilarious and wouldn't come to this. A shame because it looks like a good line up. Wonder how the scene is in Maidstone. There used to be a good punk scene in Kent but it seems to have fucking died!

We're trying to get things going here in Maidstone. It's an uphill struggle, same as everywhere else really. There are loads of people who like the music, but not enough come along to the gigs. Surprising really, because everyone moans that nothing happens in Maidstone and the apathy when you do put something on is quite spectacular. Have had some reasonable crowds and they have always been very friendly and enthusiastic as well as noisy and generous with the merch stands. Most of the local bands are screamo/hardcore and not my thing really. So, we have decided to get the bigger bands in to draw more travelling support. I hope it works. Our aim is to break even, nothing more.
Punk is alive and kicking at The Maiden's Head in Canterbury. Free gigs and usually quite well attended. They get some good bands playing down there. Also the Red Lion in Gravesend works very hard for live bands and gets a few good punk bands in. The forum in Tunbridge Wells is the same and always gets packed for Anti Nowhere League at christmas.

Well Bloodstock has come and gone so I know there will be hoards of thrashers waiting for another chance to crash about in front of some awesome bands. We have 3 very fine ones here and I'm back to whoring this gig out now that the BOA dust has settled. This tour is one of the thrash events of 2011 so it would be great to see some of you down here enjoying it.

There seems to have been few teething probs for this tour (venues changing hands, crap venue owners, jittery promoters). However, we have had NO probs for the Maidstone gig, the venue is sound, the venue owner is sound, the licences are up to date, the deposit is paid, the soundy is organised, the PA is gonna be there, we have arranged for the stage to be extended the owner has spent £2000 more on lights and we are all looking forward to this one very much. This gig is not dependant on pre-sales. If you decide you wanna come along at the last minute and not get advance tickets that is fine. I hope you do come along, because it's gonna be a huge amount of fun.
