That was gant. Def Leppard aren't Soft Rock and they spell their name that way so as to pay homage to Led Zeppelin, a lesser band, which I think was rather noble of them.

God! People that dislike Def Leppard are fucking faggots.

The image resize problem is actually pretty complex, and I haven't got around to trying to deal with it yet. It's basically because when I tried to sort it before, I hard-coded the resize test on the server-side in PHP, which actually downloaded the full image, analysed it to find out the width, then chucked it away. Give the script a pretty massive digital camera image (or actually any number of images on one page) and you get the speed issues we were having before.

I haven't got around to trying to find a JavaScript solution yet, because I've been busy with other freelance web design projects and sorting out various people's PC problems - the joys of being one of the only techies in Witham :roll:.

My advice: live with it for a while longer. Oh, and the forum seems pretty fast for me at the moment. There's not a lot I can do about any speed issues anyway, it's all down to my webhost.
