I'll be there! I can't wait, it's gonna be lots of fun. I know absolutely loads of people who are going, some of whom I've not seen in a long time.

All of us mad Hallowed Point bunch will be there

Isn't it next month? Unless money suddenly starts shootin out my nostrils, I can't afford it. tbh I wouldn't waste good money on a full weekend ticket anyway.

Yeah, it's 8th-10th June.

Although most of the bands are pap, it should be brilliant for the good points already mentioned. Motley Crue will be lovely as well. And watching Gene Hoglan drum for Unearth, too. And Cynic.

Anyone know what sort of set length the second/third stage headliners get? I'm hoping ST and Crue get nice big long sets so I can forget entirely that MCR/Korn/Linkin Park exist.

+1, besides I'm off to Wacken, I can only afford one or the other, and I know where I'd rather be

i went to Download last year. terrible. full of arrogant nu-metal kids and goths. the riots on the last day were totally pointless and they mindlessly vandalised other peoples' property like a bunch of spoilt little cunts. plus the bands were shite.

Hopefully wacken will be way better :rockdevil:

Seen maiden, megadeth and slayer when they were much better bands than they are now, not interested in seeing machine head or suicidal either, so only really dragonforce id be interested in seeing, and not gonna pay all that to see them. Blastonbury sounds a far far better prospect as destruction mentioned!!! 2 days, 31 bands £25!!!
