Pitiful Reign have decided to part ways with lead guitarist Tom Britton due to personal reasons, this isn't something we will be discussing in public, though I'm pretty sure things will get out and stories will fly around and those of you who know us well will probably have seen this coming. So we are now officially on the hunt for a new lead guitarist, hence the flyer below.

But not to worry, we have Al Pashby, ex - Infobia Shredder filling in for the mean while, till we get back on our feet. We have shared the stage with al several times, both when he was with Infobia and during our cover of Whiplash and its always been a huge honor to have him on stage with us so where very grateful of him to step in so that we can continue to play live. If you read through the flyer and think you have what it take please contact us and let us know so we can set up a rehearsal, but please no time wasters and no on that isn't full interested as where really ready to step things up, with work on the new recordings and a shit load more live shows.

I love it when bands at this level make a big deal of a member leaving. When our bassist left it was just a case of "Meehhh what's Adam up to these days? Get him in" and when we needed to replace our old drummer we just went with a guy who lived up the road. NO ONE CARES.

Saying that though, I want the job.

I would try out but the fact that I would pwn all of you is why I won't Martin wants to do it because he's seen that UKThrash bands actually do have the potential to get signed and therefore has gone all "oooohhh get into a band that can get signed eeerrr"

Ah, sorry to hear that, Tom is a good guitarist and a funny bastard. Would try out but I'm not good enough. If I were I'd probably already have a band.

I don't want to do it for the success, I'm just very curious to know what it feels like to be in a band like Pitiful Reign - I want to get inside their heads. I want to find out what possesses people to actually do what they do. Think of it as a psychology experiment.

I bet the end result will be furious bumming.
