Twisted Tower Dire do a version of Powerslave which is about 15 minutes long, and also includes parts of other Maiden songs (which I ,er, can't remember off the top of my head, although Wasted Years is one of them, will have a listen later.Sorry.)
Anyway,it's great, and shit's all over anything on that Kerrap piece of toss.
I think I've got a cd with Arch Enemy doing Aces High as well, which is dead heavy, and has the old singer, before that Kraut bird joined.

Powerslave/Prowler/Wrathchild/22 Acacia Avenue/Where Eagles Dare/Rime of the Ancient Mariner/Wasted Years/The Clairvoyant.
P.M me your address and I'll send you a copy of the cd that it's on (Battle Hyms To The Pantheon),fer nowt like !

It was actually Sentenced, but often mistagged as Bodom. They did cover Aces High though, which is pretty good

Just remembered another one,I've got Mystic Prophecy doing "Sanctuary" as a bonus track on the "Regressus" cd (which also includes a version of Manowar's "Fighting the World")

Well, erm.. I've gotta say Breaking the Law isn't my favourite Maiden track... but yes, they do seem to like to butcher classics.

This is surely the best cover ever, and they even have a groupie dancing at the front (either that or jamie has died his hair)

I didn't say it was madien I thought I would not need to put that priest did it because its a metal forum and most user wouldn't need that on, just breaking the law was good enough.

Iron Maiden and Slayer are two bands whose songs simply do not translate well into covers, no matter who does them. One out of every twenty is passable.
