Pancakes

Postby James on Tue Feb 24, 2009 11:33 pm

So did anyone gorge themselves on pancakes today? I had quite a few, including one that I made on this giant non-stick flat griddle thing we have (probably about 12-14" in diameter).

My topping of choice is citrus juice (orange and lemon on this occasion) and sugar sprinkled on. I also had one with maple syrup on, but I felt it was a bit dry.

Hey, yeah me and my girlfriend just had three large pancakes each, and they were great. I always go for maximum lemon and sugar, it's just the best! Every year I wonder why I don't eat them more often, and every year I fail to do so.

Yeah, me too! They would make a great and versatile dessert with various different extras added, and they're dead easy. Strange.

hey Zykoned, here how to make your very own pancakes, FROM SCRATCH!!!!!11!!1!!!11

110g flour

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons of butter

200ml milk

75ml water

sift the flour into a bowl, make a well in the centre, add the two eggs and beat it together. Add the milk/water mixture bit by bit mixing it in good and proper until a nice yummy looking batter is formed. Now melt the butter, add most of it to your mixture and mix again.

Coat a frying pan with some of the leftover butter and fry your pancakes!!"!!!!1!!!!

warning may cause kitchen explosions. Measurements made to nearest ton/gallon
