I don't think I can even answer this. 90% of what I listen to would probably be considered a guilty pleasure by you lot. Recently I've been listening to a ballad version of 'A whole new world' off Disney's Aladdin, the one that plays over the end credits. Fuckin wicked.

I listen to a fair amount of stuff that many metalheads would..erm.. frown upon
my only guilty pleasure is a few of the rnb/hip hop/pop songs that are always played at parties i go to.
Shakira, Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado etc
whoever mentioned woody guthrie as a guilty pleasure is insane! he rules!

Metal-wise, I'm a big fan of Sonata Arctica and Vanishing Point, very melodic. I like some metalcore as well, like It Dies Today, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains , Unearth and Himsa
Non-metal acts I like are Pet Shop Boys, Phil Collins, REM and Genesis
Sugababes are awesome, Hole In The Head what a choooon!! Plus they're really hot

Good choice REM are awesome
I like all sorts of different music other than thrash, none of which I'd say was a guilty pleasure really lol.
The main non-metal band I like is REM, well they're my all-time favourite band regardless of metal lol. Also I like some metalcore, power metal, jazz, some hardcore for some reason haha. I dunno, all sorts of stuff. I could be here all day. Music is the best.

I saw them live a couple of years ago, probably the best band I've ever seen live!

No guilty plessures really. I like a wide range of music, yes metal Ian even Kiss. I love stuff like Motley Crue and Quireboys (both which i have seen live) I also like 80 pop music but if i had to name one band that would be Madness. Grew up listening to them and still love their stuff today. (and I hate fucking ska music)

Not really sure what some of you would call guilty pleasures but other than the thrash / death / black / grind i listen to, i listen a lot to the following bands : evanescence, lacuna coil, within temptation, and paradigma. I also listen to Rammstein, as well as otep and selected slipknot. As for non metal, i do like some classic rock stuff and blues, such as Led zeppelin, zz top, Status Quo, Gary Moore and Nine below zero. Some dark ambient is great (inade, endura) and the odd occasional bit of hair metal ( early motley crue, early bon jovi).

In metal, I like quite alot of power, folk and classicy stuff. I also recently deleted my entire system of a down discography... I still think they are quite talented, despite sounding shite live.
Outside metal, I'm liking Queen, The Specials, The Damned, The Ramones, Bob Marley, also impartial to a bit of The Doors and The Who.
Weird Al also kicks ass.
Now lets do some Mr Bungle worship. Whos with me?

I listened to them once, whilst being stoned out of my head. Never again.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I can't imagine Mr Bungle stoned is nice.
I put Woody Guthrie. But I also put a q mark and said I wouldn't consider my list as one to be embarrassed about. I don't consider him a guilty pleasure, just pretty un-Metal.
All that Remains and Unearth suck. They sucksucksucksucksucksuuuuuck! No disrespect to those who like em, but that's how I feel. I slant them with Trivium. Oh and I would consider Evanescence a guity pleasure too because I think they suck. Oh and I like Nelly Furtardo when the video comes on. She is fine. Guess, it proves the other thread right. We like music by people we want to shag. I mean, Maneater would suck if sung by Michelle McManus (and would probably be a bit too close to the truth...)
