Love the first 2 VENOM LPs. The production on 'WTH' is so raw. I read that it wasn't supposed to be released like that as it was only a demo, but Neat loved it so much they just put it out.

I'm not so sure, I know most of the early Thrash bands were influenced by VENOM, but punk bands such as DISCHARGE, BROKEN BONES & GBH had a huge influence on the likes of SLAYER, METALLICA, ANTHRAX & VOIVOD. Quorthon claimed to be influenced not by VENOM and MOTORHEAD, but by CHAOS UK, GBH & RIOT/CLONE :? . I think it would've happened anyway. Love VENOM though... :rockdevil:

Excellent
