God, I can't even remember what came out this year and otherwise.
I did enjoy that Watain one as well. Other than that, i'd have to check release dates.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Sick of it All - Based on a True Story (On form at the moment, this and their previous are probably their best albums in my opinion)
Integrity - The Blackest Curse (Fucking fierce. Some brilliant riffs, it's really chaotic and dark)
Overkill - Ironbound (I can't think of any other Thrash albums this year, really - though I haven't heard Heathen amongts others. Really impressed me)
Danzig - Deth Red Sabaoth (Return to form. Not perfect but many a good track and plenty of balls)
Black Breath - Heavy Breathing (Some awesome riffs. A hardcore band with plenty of influence Entombed, love it)
Grinderman - II (Wasn't that impressed with the first one when I heard it. This one was dirty as. Some great lyrics from Nick Cave)
Black Country Communion - S/T (Some of it slightly missed the mark but there was plenty to appreciate here and the stronger tracks were great)
Iron Maiden - Final Frontier (Mentioned my thoughts on this when it came out but it has lots of good tracks amongst the questionable filler bits)
Still have plenty to listen to, mind. Electric Wizard, Ghost, Sodom, Heathen, Dio's live albums, Kylesa, Monster Magnet amongst others. Notable lack of punk and thrash for me this year.

Oh, and that does not include Annihilator's effort that was slightly too irritating in parts to warrant inclusion and the BBB effort because, to be honest, it was so dull.

Re: Top Albums of 2010
I can't remember much of what came out this year, most of the amazing albums I discovered were about 30 odd years old - but it's probably safe to say Ghost's debut is the king of 2010. Also The Final Frontier was great for me, obviously there were many mixed reactions and there's a good few dodgy moments on that album, but for the most part I still bloody love it. The Opeth live album/DVD (from the Royal Albert Hall 20th anniversary joy) was amazing too. Black Country Communion was pretty damn rockin', but I have to say I did get bored of it pretty quickly. And Robert Plant's one was pretty cool from what I heard, but nothing to really shout about.
For next year, all my hopes lie with Saxon (think their new one should be out around March time), Opeth (they start recording in January, hopefully a release in Autumn!), maybe the Rolling Stones (if rumours, and Keith Richards, are to be believed), and perhaps even Tool as 2011 should make it 5 years since the last album, although I reckon their next album will probably be a 2012 jobby. Oh yeah and the new Fleet Foxes album should be out next year too, which is most probably going to be absolutely bloody amazing. And I wonder if any new lovely bands will spring out from the ground?

Re: Top Albums of 2010
This has been the shittest year for heavy metal in modern history. Even the bands on these lists haven't raised the bar & are just living off their names & back catalogue.
Apart from Ghost, they're quality!

"Find out what the Double O has been rocking to in 2010 inside!
The Prince of Darkness himself, Mr Ozzy Osbourne, has revealed his top ten albums of 2010. With no further fanfare, here’s what Ozzy’s been listening to this year. (P.S. We think he gets bonus points for having the nuts to put his own album at number 1).
Ozzy’s top 10 albums of 2010:
1. Ozzy Osbourne – Scream
2. Black Label Society – Order of the Black
3. Motorhead – The World is Yours
4. Slash – Slash
5. Halford – Made of Metal
6. Korn – III: Remember Who You Are
7. Pantera – Cowboys from Hell (Reissue)
8. Lamb of God – Hourglass Box Set
9. Firewind – Days of Defiance
10. AC/DC – Iron Man 2"
number 10 , so basically he is like us, likes his old bands and his mates bands,
