Yeah the Waste intie was cool! If they get big they deserve to be though I hate the idea of them filling arenas. I'm not saying they don't deserve it but it feels so impersonal and the Waste seem to be to me at least a band for more compact venues, better interaction with the audience. :rockdevil:

yea I'd much rather go and see a band in a small venue than a huge arena...it's just a whole different atmosphere and it's not as good when you are fighting to see the stage.

they seem so modest in the interview too...it's cool

Especially refreshing when you consider the arrogant attitudes of various 'extreme pop' bands (ie nu-metal, metalcore, nu-hardcore! )

Great reviews for Amok and Deceptor! Both bands need more exposure, I hope this gives them some more...
I haven't read the MW interview but stuff I've read about them before made them out to be a bunch of clowns. Its good that they're not arrogant and enjoy what they do but also kind of sad to be acting like a teenager when you're blatantly not.
I killed Reanimator.

"Another glaswgian band, this time heavily influenced by the bay area. all three tracks could be outtakes from the classic fabulous disaster, which is a big compliment, and like exodus, amok have the knack of writing instantly memorable songs, chock full of creative riffs, which can either carry a serious message like "Kill the gestapo" or like "thrash island", be just for fun.
