Bloodstock 2011

Postby James on Tue Dec 14, 2010 11:55 pm

I've never been that tempted by Bloodstock before, but I definitely want to go next year: Morbid Angel, Immortal, Angel Witch, and CORONER!

I dont understand the hype around Coroner reforming, Its pretty much 'meh' to me atm, I'll be seeing them in France at Hellfest so can reserve my judgement until then I think.

However I am happy to see Bloodstock booking big acts then "borrowing" D grade Wacken slots for the weekend.

Still last year I had a great time, so I will be there no doubt again this year.

Well I haven't seen them before and I'm a big fan so that's the only reason I'm excited. Just really want to see them at least once. The lineup is looking good though for this year...so far.

The fair enough dude it just seems every other week some band is reforming and it is an over rated pile of wank.

Case point Exhumed reforming (I should be excited) and are playing some high profile gigs around Europe.

Yet bands from the same genre that are way better get ignored as usual why should they they have paid there dues for 10+ years while band X has been split up.

The only thrash band id be really excited about reforming would be vio-lence!

so long as i could see them that is.

Possessed too, but only with the original line up (well 7 churches line up) but like either of those is going to happen!!

well obviously, but they have already said that will NEVER happen! :(
they reformed once and did a couple of gigs but then Rons accident put pay to it all (i do have one of the gigs on DVD tho, but no-one can have it as i was sent it by eric meyers pornstar girlfriend and was told it wasnt for trading :shame: )

mind you, when i win the lottery and fly em over to play the local church hall, then you're all invited!!!

I totally get your point to be fair but Coroner was one what got me excited.
