Our guitarist works in Virgin megastores in Manchester and we can have the downstairs gig room for free thrash promo days at weekends. Done it twice before and it was good stuff (free entry and did our own sound), early start though to attract all the shoppers and roaming / lingering big city teens!
If any of you want to have a stab at it let me know.
F.A.O. Any of yous Earache bands with stuffs to promote.

I dunno, I've heard some stories. My favourite was a tussle with a baghead, he slid him accross the entire till counter and banged him against the end like it was a wild-west bar brawl. I can imagine the merch flying all over the show. quality.

i used to be regularly "aprehending" theiving shoplifting idle druggy bastards when i worked at kwik-save. I remeber losing it with one guy and splitting his lip! He just stood their and looked like he was going to bawl, then asked me for a tissue, as he couldnt "go back in this state". Seems he was in a halfway house! Twat!

Nice one, keep me posted with when you're both ready to promote it and I'll book a date in, probably need about 6 weeks notice.
It's a dry event so bring a thermos!

Because that store is a tiny piece of shit?
Anyway, my one man thrash band is very interested indeed. I'm signing to Earache later this month.
