hhhhhmm at least they don't have the T-600 / 800's running around as they weren't supposed to be built yet when this is set.....though saying that they are playing around so much with the Terminator time line hell even 2 fucks alot of it up and the TV series as well.....though according to what i have read this film ignores 3 totally as it uses the Sarah Connor Chronicles jumping the 3rd movie plot.

T-600 are made by the time this movie is set (2018), theres a T-800 cast aswell but there not made till a fair bit later so I dont get that, a prototype maybe? This film follows on from were T3 left off in that timeline.

Well it totally ignores T3 and sets itself after T2, its pretty good if you just treat it as a spin-off IMO, but the movies are far better IMO...

I enjoyed it, set in an alternate time line that ignores 3.

The one thing that annoys me in the trailer is it doesn't seem end of the world enough. Admittedly it is in a desert but... come onnnnnnnnnnn i want to see wide planes of glassed outback.

As for the T-600s being in it, i think they might have been dicking about by then...

I reckon T3 could have been a great film. The idea was good, but some things were just silly. If it was made at the time of T2, it would have been ace.

Cameron felt the story had already been told after he made T2, funny thing is when asked about his opinion on T3 he said he ''Loved it'', I actually believe him because he is known to speak his opinion, like when he trashed Alien 3 for killing off characters he introduced in Aliens.

I read that Cameron said he did indeed love it, but he 'would've done it differently', which is true I'm sure. T3 really was quite shite in my opinion, although as a stand alone action film it was definitely entertaining enough. It just hurts a little bit when you compare to the mammoth beast of a movie experience that is T2. I reckon this one will also be shit, as it's directed by the director of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, but it's got Christian Bale in it... saying that, both Pacino and De Niro have been in some bad films, so there's no reason why Bale won't be in one. I think this will be bad. But it might be a fun cinematic experience.
