These sound pretty good, especially Shock and Awe, although they also sound like they could have come off Tempo of the Damned. The sound seems pretty identical, although it's hard to judge from two one minute mp3 samples.

Oooo!

Sounds better than I'd expected!

For Andy Sneap that production is actually pretty different. It sounds like they might have used different gear from the usual suspects.

I was hoping Sy wouldn't be emulating Rob Dukes though...

This is what British Thrash bands should be aiming for. I like the vocals.

Shock and Awe sounds pretty nice, Burn sounded rather less great. Good to hear they're still going for an aggressive sound, but I don't think it's anything to shout about. That sound has been done so much, not least by modern Exodus as Bill points out. I won't be buying it.

shock and awe sounds good, sounds more like shovel headed exodus than tempo exodus imo

Agreed about SHKM.

To be fair, you know what you're getting with Sneap. The production is going to sound largely the same no matter what genre the band is.

I don't like it. It sounds really uninspired and stale. I'll give it a listen tomorrow because im really tired and have a headache so it was never going to be the best listening experience :P

I miss Sy's high pitched screams actually

Although I read somewhere where he says he "still hits the high ones" on the new album.

on the topic do you think thrash bands should try and get that 80's sound for new albums?
I think it would be cool if sodom or anthrax or someone like that went back to a agent orange or among the living style production.
