Any Edguy fans around here? Despite the fact that their last album was absolutely terrible (apart from the first two songs), I find them to be wonderful indeed. They're so much great fun indeed, and Hellfire Club is a particularly amazing album, with The Piper Never Dies being one of my favourite power metal songs in the whole world (I'm listening to it now and it's amazing which is why I decided to make this thread!). What I like about them more than most power metal bands is that they're a bit more 'metal', and have more balls than most. Apart from when they do their horrible cheesy ballads, but I just choose to pretend they don't exist. I actually found them quite average at first I think until I saw them live at Bloodstock a few years ago, after Mandrake came out i think, and I thought they were amazing. Tobias Sammet is a great frontman! Lots of running around, and they really are so much wonderful amazing fun.

Saw them when they supported DragonForce last January, great live band, used to love them a lot, but I'm growing off the power metal scene now. Still love Sonata Arctica and Blind Guardian though

I havn't heard that much Edguy, but they were hilarious at BOA from what I remember!!!

Especially when they went off stage and wanted to come back on to do an encore with the crowd chanting 'ED-GUY' but no-one was doing it and then it only got funnier when he told the crowd they were supposed to be chanting Edguy
