Where should one start with Tankard? I can't believe I've never bothered to check them out.

I'd suggest checking out their new stuff first althought they've not released a bad album.

Chemical Invasion would probably be a good start. It's also important to note that, unlike the rest of the German Thrash scene, they're still top quality.

Wrong. You're thinking of Destruction.

Tankard have never done a bad album but they've also never really done what I'd regard as a bona fide classic album either.

I'd be more of a Sodom man myself. Destruction are obviously an incredibly band, but Sodom do just that bit more for me...

Never cared much for Sodom myself just find if I stick an album on the vast majority of the time I'll switch before the album ends.

No need to state my view on where I stand with destruction really :eyes:
