Wakefield which is the best of the Hellraiser shops, Leeds and York. I have never been to the York shop. But Sheridon who own the Hellrasiers is cool. I dont even need to go though the CDs any more, she just recommends stuff to me and I have left with some cool stuff and she introduced me to some very intersting bands including vhaldermar.

Lets just say i am too lazy to go through all the CDs in the shop. And there is some shit hot t-shirts including some good thrash shirts.

I used to live in a flat right opposite the Hellraiser in my 2nd year of uni in Leeds last year before I moved a bit further out. What a bloody great place. It was where I discovered Opeth!

Despite living near Leeds all my life, I've never actually been. Where is the hellraiser?

I used to hang around the corn exchange when I was 14 to try and look cool though... What a cruddy place that is..

Hellraiser's pretty much right by the corn exchange! If you head up towards the No.1 Oriental Buffet (where I lived above, much to my delight), it's sort of opposite there, not on the road with the post office on, but the road behind it. It sounds complicated when I try and explain it because Leeds city centre is ridiculous, but its pretty easy to find.

Yeah it was the same in Liverpool! It was ran by a bird called Ruth, and she'd recommend different albums each week that she thought I'd like. She was never wrong too!
It shut down though because my brother was shagging her. Her fella, who also worked there, found out. I think that's the main reason they closed anyway. My brother is a bastard!

So lazy Half of the fun is searching through hundreds of CD's trying to find something cool. Still, it's really cool that Sherradon recommends stuff and knows what her regulars like.

Haha, I went there a couple of times, the only good thing is the Travelling Man shop.... And I guess if you're like a fitness buff then the stairs are good too...
