Another band that I've, like Testament, largely scunnered myself to. They're good but not 'up there' with Exodus, Laaz, Heathen and Vio-lence IMO.

Yeah - the last two are nowhere near as good as the first two. The "Trapped" demo is better.

I'm in pretty regular contact with one of the former guitarists. Asked him just a couple of weeks ago about the possibility of a reunion. Don't quote me or anything but he said most of the lads were up for it. So you never know.

Oh yeah, also mentioned this forum to him and how well thought of FE and Twisted are amongst Brit thrashers.

From what I've heard from a couple of ex-members, Russ Anderson's not up for it. He's not into that stuff any more - he has a band called "Parking Lot prophets" now. If they're still going, that is.

FYI - I know some guys who went to see Exodus in San Francisco last night with Craig Locicero and he said a Forbidden reunion will definitely not happen. Ah well.

Bollocks.

I dont understand why people dont want bands to reunite, they think it will ruin the legacy or something but I dont give a fuck, I just wanna see Forbidden!

yeah for those of us who weren't even around when most of these thrash bands were in their prime, reunion tours are our only chances to catch them live

I agree, fuck all those moody old fucks who complain about the bands "just not being the same" I dont give a fuck! Im nineteen! The reunions have been my only chance to see some great thrash in my short time being a metalhead.

It really pisses me off to think that some people DONT want the reunions. Dickheads.

I'm also 19 but don't want to see half-arsed reunions,

I mean, sure it's cool looking at the 3/4/5 guys who were in a classic Thrash line up play a gig but it really begins to suck when they fulfill the role of a nostalgia act.

I love Destruction because they reunited and have done stuff that puts some of their older stuff to shame. Few reunited Thrash bands have done this and, imo, neither Forbidden, Dark Angel nor even Testament can do it successfully.

Me neither man, if it wasnt for the reunions i wouldnt have seen

anthrax (classic line up)
testament (classic line up)
death angel
exodus
heathen
nuclear assault

since most of them are in my top ten im all for it! :D i like to see the actual people that played back in the day,for me seeing your idols and people who i grew up respecting is part of going to a gig, i mean, i havent seen a bad performance yet but i wouldnt really mind either, i'd rather see that than guys i dont know playing the tunes, thats more like watching a cover band. thats why dave mustaine and friends was'nt that big a deal for me. :P
