singing
this has been bugging me for ages, its come to the point where i have to choose between doing more growly vocals to singing clean, for some reason though i do everything to try and growl properly not to damage my voice it completely destroys my normal singing voice. if i had to choose between the two i would rather sing cleanly but i would love to be able to do both like mikael from opeth who seems to do both flawlessly, any advice/ideas?

Re: singing
But hes fucking Dio.
In all seriousness, when it comes to clean singing I think its either you have it or you don't. If you gruff it up a little then its much easier I think.

I like the drink "tea an hour before the gig". Images of death metal bands all sitting down to tea with their pinkies sticking out.
