Thanks to the relative anonymity of the place people can be far more "bold" with their humour.

I wouldn't say people can be more bold with their humour on th'internet. I don't really change what I say unless there's someone around that is bound to take offence, lest I make another faux pas similar to that time I shouted 'Yeah?! But you're arse is nigger meat!' at a mate, forgetting there was a black guy with us. In my defence, I was fucking hammered. I smoothed the situation over by shouting 'SHIT!' and running off into the night.

It is all total wank though.

Most of my mates, 'metal' or otherwise have been beaten up. Chavs here can get pretty violent.

Oddly enough, I've never been mugged or anything whilst out, although I've come close. Mostly I find if you single out one guy and act very very aggressive they back down. Always helps to dress threateningly and have at least one other person with you as it takes away their confidence in themselves and their mob mentality.

Here in Thursby, I beat a squirrel up once. That was pretty nasty.

I've never been started on in the street. Worse I get are cries of "ERE YE FUCKING MOSHERZ!"
