how gutted would you feel if the numbers you played on the first week came up on the second?

Surely your odds of winning are THE SAME every time you play, because it's a random draw?! The second week's draw, etc. isn't linked to the previous weeks, so probabilistically they're unconnected events.

Heheh, that sounds entirely plausible and probably correct. But that's just a reason for not playing at all then in my opinion, because the odds of winning are so slim that they don't justify the hundreds of pounds you would discard by playing for a lifetime.

Anyway, I had a dream last night that I was meant to be going paintballing the day before this gig, but I decided to cancel the paintballing because I was scared of getting shot on the arse and having to sit on a drum stool the next day

I'm playing a five-a-side on a proper nice astro turf in a couple of weeks... it's going to be so freezing though! Incidentally, I have never been paintballing would you believe (which makes the dream even stranger)!

The problem with the lottery is that, unless you a strong minded person and can let go of things, you can't just do it once. The average man will do it once and then think, "...Good lord, I haven't won this week, but what if my numbers come up next week? Oh no!" And then the path of danger has been taken and it's too late. But then again, the people I know on here aren't average idiots so you probably could just do it once and be happy not doing it again. I did it once on my 16th birthday, and I think once more since then when it was a massive rollover or something, and then just thought, fuck this, it's stupid. I can't be building myself up to get disappointed every bloody week of my life, that's just mental.

Yes the lottery is a load of pish.

Paintball in the spring sounds excellent though.

Laser quest isn't as fun, no one is scared of a laser.

God i wish there were actual portable high power lasers.

lasers can hurt your retinas if you stare at them directly,so technically you could get blinded or even haveyour eyeballs melted.pretty hardcore.

mind you that said,in paintballing this could happen.i was genuinly frightened when this byker grove episode originally aired.now its fucking hysterical.also the grove leader Geoff was definitely a Lemmy fan  (check his tasche/burns)

shame it wasnt real  im surprised the paintballs missed his giant widescreen forehead :D

byker grove was soooo controversial.this was rather naughty and strange for me to understand/comprehend as a youngster.
id heard the term gaylord etc at school but never thought gayness actually existed up until seeing this

EDIT:at 1:02 you see george micheal on the cinema screen so the long haired lad must have realised a little bit what he was letting himself in for considering it was a gay movie
