ANTHRAX BEGIN RECORDING November 6th 2008
Thrash titans Anthrax, recently armed with a new vocalist, are about to enter the studio to recording new album, so far titled 'Worship Music', for a May 2009 release.

Yeah, I saw a video of Charlie being a prick in the studio.. aren't they doing three covers or something? Bit odd.

The new singer isn't very good, it'll probably be a bit rubbish.

I've got no high hopes for this one. Anthrax have turned gay, they're just trying to appeal to the mainstream crowd these days.

Whatever Anthrax release, I buy.

From the preview that was posted a while back, I'll be steering well clear of this.

FOOLS!

AN ONION! AN ONION! AN ONION!

That could be Caught In A Mosh for the 21st Century.

Seriously, though, Anthrax are probably more fucked now than they ever have been. Has Rob not left too... again?

I love anthrax so much but they really should consider a different name... regardless of what he thinks it was the singer's that made this band, not scott ians power trips over the years.

Neil was great and his era was shortlived, Joey was of corse brilliant and i dunno if i really like em with Bush - but i am glad hes gone back to AS!
The new singer just sounds a bit meh.... he has no experiance and the videos showed him just swearing alot through the songs and he sounds like phil alsemno from pantera mixed with someone else (dunno who tho lol) but yea...bad times...
(also Danny Spitz has again gone....i fucking loved him lol)

Regardless of what they say, if they do create a thrash album it wont be from the heart...itl be processed to try gain some respect that they lost through the 90's. Although i could easily see this turning out a bit like Scream, aim and fire or something really gay

Yeah I have to say I will agree with you there. I'm sure I've said before but the big four are past it, as much as I hate to say it, these bands just can't keep it up and their albums just can't keep up to scratch. I don't expect another Rust in Peace, Master of Puppets, Reign in Blood or Among the Living, although following those releases at least those bands all managed to create some good stuff following them but now its just trying too hard or trying to appeal to modern audiences.

hmm I think thrash has changed way too much now, its still rebuilding and its more speed metal or crossover thrash thats getting attention, not thrash now i think.

Megadeth will put out another good release (regardless of whether its full thrash) and slayer will put out another sound album and anthrax have the likliness to put something decent out, im gona go find they new songs they played live at tht back in action show

The harmony in it before the solo was brilliant. That album really wasn't too shoddy, like. I'd have preferred it if they had done a follow-up to it rather than jump on the band wagon and do a reunion tour, even although they did so relatively early.
