Did anyone else read lots of these R. L. Stine books when they were younger? I've just been browsing this list of titles:
http://www.scholastic.com/goosebumps/bo ... _flash.htm
Reading the blurbs reminds me a bit of them, I think I had quite a lot of them.
It would be quite funny to read them again now. It would probably take about 15 minutes, but I think it would be entertaining!

I did, they were awesome! Especially the first one, I remember it scaring the shit out of me, after that there was always a steady decline in quality till they just became terrible.

aye, good stuff, then the ideas started getting stupider and shitter lol
anyone read the Point Horror books that were sort of the next step up from Goosebumps??
one thing I remember about all of those books (goosebumps incl) is that they were always silly and way too over-americanised and cheesy, and really easy to read haha
Good horror/ comedy though!!!

yeah they did get pretty ridiculous!
It was funny how every chapter HAD to end with a cliff-hanger, however insignificant!!
Usually like "Someone grabbed my shoulder and I froze!"
Next page: "it was my mum offering me cookies."

I used to love Goosebumps, i used to especially love the ones that you read and had to make decisions like "will you go into the house? (turn to page 45) or get into the car? (turn the page 34) etc....
Point Horror was too hardcore for me though....scary stuff...
