We're happy to announce that next year's headliner for Full Thrash Assault will be Short Sharp Shock.

Since 2005, SSS have rapidly built up a following with their energetic live performances and blend of hardcore crossover thrash, and soon attracted the attention of Earache Records. The Liverpudlian quartet release their second full length album, entitled "The Dividing Line", on 20th October.

I think i will have to do Melloboat, unless i can't afford to then i shall fta.

I think last year the tickets cost £65 and I took around £300 - 350 spending money with me for the week, and perhaps ended up taking a little more out of the cash machine. Oh yeah and flights, they cost about £30. That may give you an idea of how much to save up - obviously if you just go for the weekend you'll be able to get away with a lot less. Basically, if we book the flights really really early, we'll be fine, as the hostel was also really cheap and nice.

EDIT: By the way, I'm sorry to do this on the FTA thread, I'm not trying to make people not come (just Bill), FTA will also be amazing. Let's continue Melloboat talks on the Melloboat thread. My apologies.

Yes sorry about this chaps, i really wish i could do both i have wanted to see SSS for ages. Excellent choice a really fantastic band and it would be a lot easier for me rather than going mental far up north and getting lost.

I really wish you guys all the best as i really respect what you do up there, major part of the scene and i hope to get up to one of your events soon, with luck at F.K.U but that is looking shaky at best.
