Anyone into Confessor? I am loving them at the moment. Only rediscovered them recently when I recorded all my old vinyl and ripped my "Condemned" record. Got my hands on "Unraveled" which I wasn't even aware had come out a couple of years ago. Very heavy progressive doom. They are a bit liked a whacked out early Trouble.Think they have called it a day again though

Re: Confessor
Indeed, great band. I ordered the band's 3 demos direct back in 1990 ("The Secret" 1987 / "Uncontrolled" 1989 / "Collapse" 1990). Personally, I find the versions on those demos better than the 1991 LP, plus there are some unreleased tracks as well.
I caught the band on the Gods Of Grind tour, at the Astoria, plus they also played a killer show with Nocturnus at the Marquee (1991/2?) Lots of flailing hair and windmills at the front.
Have you got the "Sour Times" enhanced-MCD? It has two tracks from the "Blueprint Soul" EP, the 1990 demo version of "Condemned" and a video of them playing Trouble's "The Last Judgement" from 1996. I have a few copies of those left in stock, if you are interested (£2.00) and I also have a copy left of the "Live In Norway" DVD.
Personally, though, I thought the "Unravelled" CD was a let down. More Alice in Chains than Trouble. Still OK though.
Oh, yeah, I believe there was a new CD recorded, but it is unreleased so far.

Aye, it says on Wikipedia or somewhere that they are due to release an album this year. No mention of it on the Season Of Mist website though. Haven't checked the Confessor Myspace for a while so don't know if there is a mention on there. Don't know how it would work without Scott Jeffrey though as he isn't listed as a current band member.
