It wasn't that bad, stop being miserable old bastards!!!
as usual theres was lots of subtle jokes and social commentary, cool episode, had me laughing!

Re: New South Park
That's a shame, it really was quite rubbish. Mickey Mouse was quite funny but quickly got tedious. The only bit that made me laugh was when Cartman got hit by the dart, because the noise he made when he fell over was quite wonderful. And when Cartman said to Kenny "Your girlfriend is a notorious whore..." that made me chuckle, as that's something I wish I'd been able to say to some people in my lifetime...
All in all though, that was a pretty uninspired episode. I hope they get better, but I don't have that many hopes at the moment for this. What a bloody shame.

It was as subtle as a turd on a pool table, to be honest. I had to google the Jonas Brothers to find out who they were. Sorry, but High School Musical and the Jonas Brothers really shouldn't appear on the radar when it comes to social commentary. I'm sure there will be an episode based on the Credit Crunch at some point this season but that would have been a far more prudent starting point than the Jonas Brothers.
Run out of ideas, cancel show now.

Re: New South Park
they're supposed to be kids.... so jonas brothers and hsm kinda fits in because the kids these days love that shit... its probablyt bigger in america aswell, therefore, more annoying and worse... trey and matt are just taking the piss out of stupid kids shows... chinpokomon? is that a bad idea... its releveant to us because pokemon is what was popular then when we were kids

Fair point, but Chinpokomon was actually well done.

This week's episode sounds much better!

There's a reference in the clip to that hilarious video of Americans who think they've seen a Leprechaun. There's got to be some sort of Christian Bale goodness in this episode too! I'm quite looking forward to this. And it's called The Coon. It's got to be great.

Re: New South Park
I tried watching an episode the other night because I keep getting told "It's getting better again" and "It's as good as it was when it first started".
Is it fuck.
Never again.

Er, season 1 was wank, so they're being truthful, it was just pointless swearing and wafer thin plots at the start.

Nah, it wasn't. I remember watching the first episode when it first premiered over here. People only gave a shit about them swearing every other word, and kenny dying.
