bless you,the only venue ive been to which does 14+ gigs is the islington bar academy,so naturally the majority of every other gig/venue will be 18+ considering thats the drinking age/law etc.
i remember when Zurab and 1 or 2 other under 18's regularly posted on most gig threads about not being able to get in like it was always a shocking rule or such a harsh surprise.when it was always obvious that you gotta be 18 anyway.
yeah i suppose its unfair but look on the bright side...at least we are not in america where you have to be 21 :D
i remember when i was 17yrs old,me and a mate spent a whole afternoon/eve forging college i'ds with my mates college id as a blueprint,we went and developed pics and got felt pens, glue, printouts, sticky back plastic etc, just to be told by the bouncers "sorry lads, you need either your passport or drivers licence" :(
we would try and use the feeble "but im not going on holiday so dont carry passport" or "i dont drive" answers but to no avail.
ah those were the days...that was bloody 9years ago already, god i feel old now.
Redburp, maybe i could temporarily loan you 3years,that way you will be 18-20 and i will be 23/in my "early" 20's again
how about it? deal?

It's a shame.. think how rammed the shows would be if they were over 16 shows...

If only you could but I'll be 18 soon enough in just over a year and then I'll be at every (good) gig .

the answer is simple, just get more famous and play bigger venues that allow younger children....simples!
