Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Two years late on this one, but I just watched Lucky Number Slevin last night. What a superb film. Mr Freeman is the best.

Indeed, super splendid.

Anybody know of any films that are along the lines of 48 Hours, Midnight Run, Beverly Hills Cop?

i cant wait,i saw 2mins on youtube where he arrows people through the face then get on the turret gun on the back of a jeep and blows a guy to red mush"
i didnt wanna spoil it by watching the whole bodycount/gore clip.
i dont really do the cinema as its 50mins bus ride so i usually wait quite a while till i see the "latest" movies.

but yeah, good old fashioned, one man army,no questions, poor plot, mindless violence with high bodycount over the top action is what we like to see now and again!

Rush Hour!

I saw that new Liam Neeson film Taken last week. It was surprisingly really bloody enjoyable. He plays an ex-CIA man who left his job so he could spend more time with his daughter. Then she goes to Paris with her friend, and while she's on the phone to him she gets kidnapped, so he has to use his CIA skills to track her down. Somehow it avoids being too corny or clichéd, it's more like a Bourne-style action film, and it's great fun, although it's played quite seriously.

shit!!! rambo 4 literally "blew me away".stallone was on top form as researcher, writer, director and star.
this film was actually more intense than i thought it would be.decent acting, character building, great plot focusing on harsh realities and goings on in this fucked up world, rather than a far fetched OTT made up plot, and very very gory,in a gritty realistic way.i then watched all the extra features straight after till 3 in the morning as it was so fascinating.
wicked stuff!
roll on rambo 5.hats off to stallone who has raised his game with this movie, considering that rocky 6 was so pap!
