Whys that? emo is only nauseating because the music is shit. I think it's a good thing that thrash is getting coverage. Wayy more kids are getting into it.

Emo isn't only nauseating because the music is shit. Granted, the music is pretty shit but I can choose not to listen to it. I can't choose, however, who is allowed to walk the streets and how they dress. Considering the Thrash dress sense is pretty (let's face it) really awful, I'm not looking forward to the barrage of 24" waists and hi-tops that is likely to follow Thrash's renewed popularity.

I'm one of these people who gets really sick of things once they become popular unless there's some kind of novelty value attached to it. Sure, I enjoyed listening indiscriminately to Thrash a couple of years back when I was the only person I knew who liked Thrash. Now it's changing and I don't think any of you'll be able to identify and shun the people who've latched onto Thrash just because it's popular to the extent that you think you can.

Indeed, that is what will really piss me off, if people start "dressing" thrash. Fine, have a bit of fun and wear hilarious trainers if you want to, I've got no problem with people who really love the music dressing a bit hilariously, it's a bit of fun, but if loads of people start turning thrash into a fashion, I'll be really really pissed off. For a genre that's supposed to be all about the metal, it really shouldn't have a dress code...

It's also why I'm the best.

Probably why we get on. Similar.

Long hair, combat shorts (from Marks and Spencer, oh yes!) and a Serbia and Montenegro strip.

Looking good!

I wonder if Kerrang will bring back their mega-metal kerrang! with evile on the cover of every issue. At least they have recognized one decent band. Maybe some of these kids will progress and listen to real metal, with evile being a very good band to start with. I really hope evile do well.

The metal dress code is one reason I can't stand black metal. I thrash, I don't dress thrash. I have dumb boy-band hair, nondescript black shirts and jeans. Anyone that'd like to call me a poser for it can eat a plate of hot fuck.

Wow, this got way off topic.

you aren't metal unless you have a heavy metal vest; wear a metal shirt every day; and have long hair or a shaved head.

I see what all of you lot mean, but I would rather have people listening to thrash than indie.

I don't care about this Kerrap! stuff, well done Evile, about time you guys got a mention to be honest! And to all of you worrying what the 'thrash scene' might turn into, fuck it! If gay little kids think it's cool to be into thrash then we will only have more ammunition against god damn posers! FUCK POSERS!!!!
