Pfft!
The Coon was utter shit.

Re: New South Park
Well that obviously isn't the funny bit. If Trey Parker basing story lines on recent events was the funny bit, every episode from Season 6 onwards would be genius.

I don't use the word fag. It's insensitive to butt pirates.

Yeah, because there wasn't really a 'funny bit' in that episode. I wouldn't even rate The Coon as highly as The Breast Cancer Show Ever.

Re: New South Park
The Breast Cancer Show Ever has the unfair advantage of Cartman back pedalling, all the episodes with Cartman whining like a bitch have the advantage straight off.

Re: New South Park
Well, I was thoroughly entertained by this new episode. It wasn't prime Scott Tenorman-like quality by any means, but it was enjoyable enough, I liked it more than the first 2 episodes this season. But then I always love it when they do Canadians, it doesn't even have to be that funny for me to love it. Just the simple idea of a female Terrence and Philip queefing was hilarious enough for me.
I also definitely don't think the Coon was very good at all. It really just wasn't very funny and had no point at all. It didn't seem to be trying to take the piss out of Christian Bale's voice (I'd imagine it would've been more exaggerated and less understandable if it was), and, well, it didn't seem to be trying to do anything really, other than use the word Coon to get a few laughs here and there. And indeed, I agree that so far this series isn't even as good as the last one. I do hope it gets better, and a bit more intelligent.
Still better than Family Guy though.

Oh yeah, Tearjerker. American Dad is leading for me in funny cartoon stakes at the moment. That and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
