The Concept is Unleashed!!

- The UK’s finest Heavy Metal Warriors Conquest of Steel are entering the studio once more in order to record their third album ‘Storm Sword (Rise of the Dread Queen)’ a concept album in the truest sense, it charts the rise and fall of an empire over 45 minutes via the medium of Heavy Metal.

- Recording takes place once again at Priory and Red Flag Studios and mixing and mastering should be complete by the end of the year. ‘Storm Sword’ is set to be released in February 2009.

Competition:

Conquest of Steel are offering you the chance to get involved in the creation of ‘Strom Sword’ so dust off your brain pans and unleash those creative juices to help them create the ultimate in Heavy Metal album covers. Your task is to design the image for the front cover, their artist is currently sharpening her brushes and wetting her pencils in preparation for your ideas, but worry not artistic skill is not required. Your ideas can be submitted via a written brief or thumbnail sketch, hell stickmen will do.
