I turn 40 next year. Been in to thrash since the beggining but I need the feel to rant about something (which is not the norm fer moi). What the fuck are Anthrax doing with Belladonna again? Dinnae get me wrong they were my favourite band (with Dan Spitz) back in the day, saw them on the State of Euphoria tour with Living Color (yank spelling) in support (Edinburgh). But fer fer suck they were so much better with John Bush... how did I come to this conclusion? I bought the Big 4 DVD a few weeks back... Joey struggles. This band is not gonna move forward with him. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Knowing Anthrax, it's a business move. Bella obviously has a bigger crowd pull I guess.

I didn't really like anything anthrax put out with Bush. I agree that Anthrax wont move forward with beladonna but I dont think Anthrax will move forward with anyone now, I think its a cool way to end really. The new album will probably be the last.

Same here. Anthrax wasn't Anthrax with Bush. Belladonna's the only singer for that band. And I think he still does a good job.
I'd still ike Spitz to be back in the band as well - saw them over here when they did that and it took me back over 20 years to them supporting Metallica at Manchester Apollo. But I don't think that will happen again.
I agree with shrapnel - one last album and I think they'll call it a day. Once they've done all the various tours.

i saw them on that tour at birmingham (20/9/86) and again at the night at the madhouse gig at hammersmith odeaon (13/2/87 i think) and twice in november 87 , bristol and nottingham, plus the donnington gig, and while i did enjoy them all, joey really grated on me at times. When i saw them with bush, i was older and wiser and and objectively they were far better live. I saw them this year at sonosphere and once agin, i enjoyed them but joey was just shite, and annoying, and a nob!!
Id rather they split now and reformed SOD instead!
