KIMB is far superior to PS. Mustaine never ever got anywhere near to the sickness and seething he displays on that album and i still play it regularly now, even though ive had it for 22 years!!!

Aye, KIMB is my all time favourite 'deth album.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

When I first bought Napalm Death's Leaders not Followers EP I really didn't get it. The most extreme thing I'd heard at the time was Slipknot and Pantera meant old-skool to me. I ended up just giving it to a friend. It wasn't until about three years later after much development in my musical taste that I bought 'Enemies' and I became a big fan. I bought the EP again and I really enjoyed it - the first time I didn't know a single one of the bands, let alone the songs!

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Really loved Sanctuary's album "Into The Mirror Black".
When I heard they split and half the band formed Nevermore, I was desperate to get my hands on their first album.... really shouldn't of bothered. V.V. poor.

I know a lot of you love Nevermore, but since this dissapointment I've never paid them much attention.

They broke my heart.....bad,bad men.

I always preferred Sanctuary's Refuge Denied album. Love their version of White Rabbit.
I found Nevermore took quite a while to settle with me. Didn't much care for The Politics of Ecstasy or Dreaming Neon Black to start with but once I'd listened to Dead Heart in a Dead World it all fell into place.
Listen to The Heart Collector, Inside Four Walls and Narcosynthesis from that album and Enemies of Reality and Tomorrow Turned into Yesterday from (the Andy Sneap remixed) Enemies of Reality and then, if you don't like those tracks, give up on them for good.

if you have the CD version, then it's not even the same recording as the original LP release, it's quite a lot shitter in fact!

Thats news to me!

And yeah, Start with Dead Heart or Enemies when it comes to Nevermore. I first heard them when I saw the video for I Voyager which alone with Next in Line remains my favourite song of theirs.

I have Sanctuarys two albums on LP and I like them, but I REALLY prefer Nevermore. Anyway, Nevermore's debut sounds just like Mirror Black.

I didn't realise Sanctuary was pre-Nevermore for ages, love the Mustaine production, it has a weird quality.

I hated most of the songs on Forbidden Evil but Twisted to Form is one of my favourite albums. Werid huh. It's true to say that being thrasher doesnt equate to quality, with Forbidden being a great example.

Oh my god, The Years Of Decay. I would rather listen to my dog's farts than that abysmal abomination of an album. Ooooh, its building up to a great thrash break, all the elements are in place, this is going to rule.... Nothing, nothing but shite. I could go on about how much I hate that album all day, I wont, instead I will listen to Pagan Altar or Morbid Angel!

The new order rules...
Years of decay was a huge disgrace to the 3 albums that preceeded it, a hug huge disgrace.
I haven't got anything past years of decay, horrorscope is meant to be good?

The released version of Obsessed by cruelty is the 2nd recording of the album, the first being titles "pretenders to the throne" and it is a far superior sounding release to me, yet it was remixed with a different producer, retitled OBC and whilst still the bands best album, falls short of the original. I wasnt aware that the original had been released, are you sure it isnt just remastered for the CD???

Forbidden Evil shits on twisted into form. Then makes it eat it.

I feel the same way, but a ton of people prefer Twisted. Not in the same class in my opinion.

The CD version hasn't been remastered, it's the shit version too, rather than the lower tuned, cleaner recording.. I don't know exactly what happened with it, I'm sure there's a thread around somewhere....

I once bought the Maximum Pantera CD. It's fucking shit. Not only do you have to listen to some stupid bitch talking about things that you already know, there's no music playing in the background at all. It's boring as fuck. What a waste of money cashing in on such a great band. Cunt twats.
