The boy needs a four on the back and sides and a trim on top.

If it honestly states that in the school's rules, which he and his family signed up for at the start, then surely he's a bit screwed?

Still absurd though.

I got suspended 4 times for not cutting mine, almost got expelled too.

Hence why it was at such a gay length for so long.

Did you go to a private school or what?

The funniest rule I've ever heard was from Dollar Academy (I didn't go there but live close to it): a couple of prefects got caught slamming in the bog so the rector imposed a rule saying that members of the opposite sex couldn't come within 12" of each other.

It's a weird one really. I grew up thinking private school kids were all snobs, and then I find out that three of the guys from Amok went to Glasgow Academy (snobbish private school).

Still, people should just get normal haircuts.

No, it's just a common thing in Plymouth to have silly rules.

Private schools are usually for snobs, that is the truth. I didn't go to one.

Ken!

You're basically a fashion guru.

I've actually been meaning to start a thread - I need your recommendation for a brown pair of shoes. I can hunt down jeans and shirts no problem, but I've never been any good at buying stylish shoes.

Your advice would be appreciated Martin San!

I generally go with the idea that lace-ups look better than slip-ons. Slip-ons suggest you're a mong. I got a decent priced pair from Next that weren't too bad. At the moment I'm looking for a shiny white pair of shoes, just to be the biggest prick ever.

Not the white shoes!! My brother has some of them, I think they look lame. They're slips-ons as well I think.

£45. Dunno if they'll have them in my clown feet size though.
